A special assembly was conducted at St.Joseph’s High School (English Medium) Jokalandi on 27th January in honour of the inspection team Sr. Alice John ( Principal of Sankarakhole , Kandhamal ) and Sr. Ratna Jose ( Principal pf S. Kota), visiting the school. The event was organized to showcase the talent, dedication and overall performance of the students and staff,while also giving the inspectors a glimpse into the vibrant school culture.
The objective of this internal inspection was to evaluate the preparedness of the school in terms of facilities, staff readiness, curriculum alignment, health and safety measures and overall operational efficiency in anticipation of the upcoming academic term.
The assembly began with a warm welcome from Mrs.Reshma, the assistant teacher, who extended greetings to the inspecting team. The principal emphasized the importance of the inspection in helping the school maintain and improve its standards.
The school assembly, led by Sadhana Sahoo of Standard IX and Albin Kumar Singh of Standard VIII , opened the program with a beautiful rendition of a prayer song by the school choir. Their harmonized voices set a positive tone for the event and impressed the audience with their coordination and skill.
Next, the school’s dance troupe performed a vibrant dance, . The students demonstrated excellent teamwork, grace and rhythm, receiving applause for their energy and creativity.
To engage the inspectors and showcase the academic readiness of the students, a lively quiz competition was held among the students. The quiz covered a variety of topics, including general knowledge, history and current affairs. The audience was thoroughly entertained and the winning team was presented with certificates of achievement.
Sr. Keerthana ,the vice principal invited the guests to share the stage and address the gathering. The Sisters commended the leadership of the school for creating an environment where students are encouraged to grow, both academically and creatively. They remarked that it was heartening to see such a positive and nurturing atmosphere.
The assembly concluded with a vote of thanks from Sr. Archana, the principal who expressed gratitude to the inspectors for their time and feedback. The Principal also thanked the students and staff for their efforts in making the assembly a success.
The inspectors then visited the classrooms to evaluate the performance of both teachers and students. Following this, they reviewed the office files, which were found to be well-maintained and up-to-date. Overall, they were highly impressed with the school’s management and performance.
