St. Joseph’s High School (English Medium) celebrated Diwali on 30st October 2024, with great enthusiasm and spirit. The assembly was organized by Class IV under the guidance of Miss. Mamata, to educate students about the significance of the festival and to foster a sense of community and cultural appreciation.

The event began with a vibrant welcome song performed by the school choir, setting a festive tone. The principalSr.Archana, addressed the students, highlighting the values of light, knowledge, and goodness that Diwali represents. She emphasized the importance of celebrating diversity and respecting various cultures.

Students participated in a variety of performances, including a traditional dance that depicted the story of Lord Rama, Sita, and the return to Ayodhya. The colourful costumes, energetic choreography and the posters captivated everyone in awe.

In addition to performances, the assembly featured a brief presentation about the different ways Diwali is celebrated across India and the world. Students shared their personal experiences and traditions, showcasing the festival’s rich cultural tapestry also focusing on celebrating an Eco-Friendly Diwali this year.

To conclude the assembly, sweets were distributed, symbolizing the joy and festivity of Diwali. The atmosphere was filled with laughter and excitement as students exchanged greetings and shared their plans for Diwali Celebration.

Overall, the Diwali celebration assembly was a wonderful success, promoting unity and cultural awareness among students and faculty alike. It reminded us all of the importance of spreading light and positivity in our lives.
