“Dussehra is a reminder that truth and justice will always prevail”.
On October 18th,St.Joseph’s High School (English Medium), celebrated Dussehra with great enthusiasm and fervour during the morning assembly conducted by the students of Standard VI, VII,VIII and IX . The event highlighted the significance of the festival, symbolizing the victory of good over evil. Students staged a Dusshera performance.
The assembly began with a brief introduction by the principal, Sr. Archana , who emphasized the values of courage, righteousness, and the importance of standing against injustice. This was followed by a captivating cultural Dandiya dance by students from various grades.
Selected students delivered speeches that explained the importance of Dussehra, linking its lessons to modern-day challenges. Their insights resonated with the audience, inspiring everyone to reflect on the essence of the festival.
The assembly also featured creative interpretations of Dussehra themes through drawings and crafts, further enriching the celebration.
