Women’s Day Celebration

The International Women’s Day was celebrated at St. Joseph’s High School, (English Medium) Jokalandi, Bharatpur on 7th March, 2023

Women’s Day celebration began with a beautiful and thoughtful prayer service. The entire programme of the day was organised by two male staff (Mr. Jyothiranjan and Mr. Sambit) of the school. The prayer service by them highlighted the importance of women, the role of women and her greatness in every sphere of our lives. Every woman was felicitated with a rose bud and a gift. Then the Principal, Sr. Archana addressed the gathering on the occasion and appreciated women and their role in all walks of life. The male staff under the guidance of the Principal, conducted various Funfair Events to mark this day. The teachers actively participated in the events and were delighted by this surprise given to them. At the end, prize distribution for the winners of competition was done. We had a happy ending of the celebration by having meals together and it strengthened our Josephite family bond. Everyone had a big smile on their face which indicated that they had a marvelous day.
