On 14th November 2024, St. Joseph’s High School (English Medium), Jokalandi celebrated Children’s Day with great enthusiasm and excitement. The event was organized to honour and celebrate the joys and contributions of children to our society. The day was filled with fun activities, entertainmentand moments that left lasting memories for both students and staff.
The day commenced with a special welcome address bySr.Archana , the principal who gave an inspiring speech about the importance of children in the development of a nation. The principal emphasized the need to ensure the well-being, education and rights of children around the world. The event began with lighting of the lamp followed by a prize distribution ceremony, where winners of various competitions, were recognized and rewarded.
Teachers from different grades participated in a cultural program that included songs and dances, showcasing their creativity and love for children.
Various fun-filled activities were organized by the class teachers for their respective class including games, quiz, cooking without fire& lots of other fun activities. They were served snacks and sweets and shared among each other. Students also had the chance to dress up in casual costumes which added to the festive atmosphere.
The Children’s Day celebration at our school was a wonderful success, promoting joy, unity and the importance of nurturing the future generation. It was a day to remember, full of laughter, learning and celebration. Everyone left the celebration feeling happy and cherished.
