The new academic session 2025–26 commenced on Wednesday, 2nd April, at St. Joseph’s High School (English Medium), Jokalandi, with great excitement and anticipation. The atmosphere was filled with renewed energy and hope as students&teachers came together to welcome the beginning of a new journey.
Students from Standards 7, 8 and 9 took the lead in conducting a beautiful welcome assembly. Through their inspiring words and vibrant performances, they set a joyful and respectful tone for the rest of the year. Their enthusiasm created a warm and inviting environment for the new batch of students.
As part of a heartwarming tradition, teachers welcomed the newcomers by gently smearing chandan and offering flowers, symbolizing blessings, purity, and good fortune. This thoughtful gesture made the students feel cherished and valued as they stepped into their new academic phase.
The school also extended a special welcome to Mrs. Sonali, who joined the St. Joseph family this year. She was greeted with a bouquet of flowers, marking the beginning of her journey with love and warmth from the entire community.
