Summer is a time of sunshine, laughter, and new experiences—and this year, the students of St. Joseph’s High School (English Medium) made the most of it through a vibrant and engaging summer camp held on the 8th, 9th, and 10th of May 2025. The three-day camp was a beautiful blend of creativity, physical activity, and joyful learning, offering students a unique opportunity to explore new talents, make friends, and enjoy their vacation in a meaningful way.
The summer camp was thoughtfully organized under the guidance of our enthusiastic and dedicated teachers: Mrs. Nilu, Mrs. Priti, Mrs. Itina, and Mr. Jyotiranjan. With their energy and creativity, they ensured that every activity was not just enjoyable but also educational. A total of 48 students participated in the camp, each one contributing to the lively and cheerful atmosphere.
Adding to the spirit of the camp, senior students Darshika, Sonam, and Priyasha volunteered their time and effort to assist the teachers and support the younger children. Their presence was a great help and a source of inspiration for the participants, fostering a sense of unity and cooperation.
The camp featured a wide variety of activities that catered to different interests and abilities. From morning yoga sessions that helped students relax and center themselves, to energetic dance routines that brought out their joy and rhythm—each day was packed with excitement. Craft-making sessions allowed children to explore their creativity, while movie time brought smiles and a sense of wonder. To keep the campers refreshed and energized, snacks and drinks were provided regularly.
Fun games and competitions added a healthy spirit of challenge and teamwork. Winners were awarded, and all participants were recognized for their enthusiastic involvement. These activities helped students develop social skills, teamwork, and self-confidence in a fun and supportive environment.
The highlight of the final day was the presence of Sr. Pauline, who joined us as the chief guest. Her warm words of encouragement and appreciation uplifted the spirits of everyone present. The entire program was gracefully organized by Sr. Archana and Sr. Keerthana, who ensured that every detail was thoughtfully planned and beautifully executed.
The camp concluded with a simple yet heartwarming ceremony where each child received a certificate and a gift as a token of participation and appreciation. The beaming smiles on their faces were a clear sign that the camp had made a lasting impression.
Summer Camp 2K25 was not just an event—it was a joyful experience that brought together learning, laughter and lasting memories. We look forward to many more such enriching opportunities in the years to come.
