In honor of International Women’s Day, the male colleagues of the teaching staff of St.Joseph’s High School English Medium, Jokalandi, Mr. JyotiranjanDigal and Mr. Sambit Sudarshan Jena, organized a simple yet heartfelt celebration on 7th March 2025,to acknowledge and celebrate the hard work, dedication and contributions of the female teachers. The event was aimed at expressing gratitude and appreciation for their efforts both in the classroom and beyond.
The primary objective of this event was to create a supportive and appreciative atmosphere for the female teachers, promoting equality and recognizing their invaluable contributions to the academic community.
The event was held in the staff room, which was decorated with flowers and balloons to create a warm, inviting atmosphere.Theoccasion began with a warm welcome speech delivered the male colleagues, who expressed the collective appreciation and respect for the female teachers. They highlighted their hard work, dedication and the positive impact they have on the students and the institution.Small, thoughtful gifts were presented to each female teacher as a gesture of thanks. Each gift was accompanied by a brief note of appreciation.
A light refreshment table was set up, featuring cool drinks, pastries, and snacks. This provided an opportunity for all the teachers, both male and female, to interact in a relaxed setting, fostering camaraderie and positive relationships among the staff.To commemorate the occasion, a group photo was taken with all the female teachers and the male colleagues. The photo captured the unity and spirit of the celebration.
The event concluded with a short speech expressing the importance of continuing to foster an inclusive and supportive work environment for all teachers. The male colleagues reiterated their commitment to supporting gender equality and promoting mutual respect within the workplace.
