The New Year Assembly at St. Joseph’s High School English Medium was an inspiring event, filled with enthusiasm and hope for the year ahead. The event began promptly at 8:00 AM, with the entire school community gathered to celebrate the dawn of 2025.
The special assembly was conducted by the students of Standard VII, VIII and IX followed by Vice Principal, Sr. Keerthana, addressing the students and staff. She wished everyone a Happy New Year and encouraged the students to embrace the challenges and opportunities of the new year. Her speech emphasized the importance of setting personal and academic goals, remaining resilient and making the most of every opportunity.
To add vibrancy to the occasion, cultural performances were held. The first performance was a group dance by the school’s dance troupe, showcasing music that symbolized new beginnings. This was followed by a musical performance by one of the students, uplifting everyone’s happiness.
Students delivered heartfelt speech reflecting on the achievements of the past year, about the importance of teamwork, discipline, and inspired everyone to set personal resolutions and work towards becoming better versions of themselves.
To conclude the assembly, the Vice Principal shared an optimistic vision for the school year ahead and encouraged students to embrace their potential. The assembly ended with the national anthem and students returning to their classes with renewed energy and enthusiasm for the year to come.
