19th December 2024, CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION
Christmas is a time of joy, giving and togetherness and this year, St. Joseph’s High School English Medium celebrated the festive season with enthusiasm. The school hosted a special Christmas celebration on 19th December 2024, which included a variety of fun-filled activities designed to bring students and staff together in the spirit of holiday cheer.
The school was beautifully decorated with Christmas trees, twinkling lights and colourful decoratives.
The event began with a heart-warming Christmas assembly.Sadhana and Saikrishna successfully led the entire day’s program.The principal Sr. Archana, gave a welcome speech, highlighting the importance of compassion, kindness and togetherness during the holiday season. Students were reminded of the values of sharing and caring that Christmas promotes.
The students from different grade levels showcased their talents through a series of performances. There were choir renditions of popular Christmas carols such as “Silent Night” and “Jingle Bells” and a short play about the true meaning of Christmas. The audience was also treated to a dance performance by the school’s dance troupe which performed to a medley of festive music. It was followed by the prize distribution ceremony for the winners of Canvas of Creativity 2K24. The Best Class Award for “Canvas of Creativity 2K24” was presented to Mrs. Nilu the class teacher and the students of Standard 7. The All-Rounder Award was awarded to Abhishek from Standard 9.
The school management provided a special Christmas snack – cupcakes for all students and staff.Each staff member was given a cake to share with their family, while the support staff received both a gift and a cake.
Thus,the Christmascelebration was a resounding success. It was an event that fostered school spirit, creativity and kindness. The students, teachers and staff came together to make this celebration a memorable occasion. As we look forward to the new year the joy and camaraderie shared during this event remind us of the importance of community and the values of compassion and generosity that Christmas brings.
