The much-awaited Canvas of Creativity 2K24- the all-subject Exhibition at St. Joseph’s High School English Medium Jokalandi was successfully held on 27th November 2024 at the school premises. This event showcased the creative talents of our students across various disciplines, marking the culmination of their hard work, learningand dedication.
The exhibition commenced with an opening ceremony attended by Chief Guest Prof Sanjeeb Kumar Das and his wife Mrs. Mamata, Guests of Honour Sr.Leena Jacob, Fr. Richard Vaz, Sr. Pauline, Deputy Mayor Smt. ManjulataKanhar ,teachers, students, and parents. The principal, Sr. Archana , addressed the gathering with a speech emphasizing the importance of hands-on learning and the value of interdisciplinary knowledge.
The opening ceremony featured a traditional lamp-lighting, a warm welcome, inspiring speeches, the distribution of awards for academic achievers, an electrifying dance performance and a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
The exhibition featured a wide range of displays, each representing a subject taught at our school. Students from various grade levels were responsible for presenting their projects, which covered Innovative experiments, Interactive displays on geometry, algebra, and statistics, Students displayed creative writing, poetry, and dramatic performances, maps, and presentations on significant historical events, cultures, designs that illustrated students’ creativity and artistic skills.Interactive software demos, robotics displays, and innovative tech solutions created by students. Skill of Karate and Sports were also exhibited by group of students.
Students engaged visitors with detailed explanations of their projects, encouraging active participation. Parents and teachers were impressed by the depth of knowledge and creativity demonstrated by the students.
A panel of esteemed judges, including faculty members and external experts, evaluated the projects based on creativity, content accuracy, presentation, and innovation. Prizes were awarded to the top projects in different categories with special recognition given to outstanding teamwork and originality.
The feedback from visitors was overwhelmingly positive. Many parents expressed their pride in their children’s achievements, and students reflected on how the exhibition had helped them gain a deeper understanding of their subjects. The event also provided an opportunity for students to build confidence in public speaking and presentation skills.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks from the Principal, acknowledging the hard work of students, teachers, and the administrative team. The principal once again praised the students for their outstanding efforts and encouraged them to continue exploring their interests and developing their academic skills.
Overall , the Canvas of Creativity 2K24 was a resounding success, showcasing the impressive range of talents, creativity, and academic achievement of our students. This event not only provided a platform for students to demonstrate their knowledge but also fostered a spirit of collaboration and intellectual curiosity.
