IDENCE SCIENCE OLYMPIAD RESULT 2023-2024

The IDENCESCIENCE Olympiad exams are competitive assessments designed to test students’ knowledge and problem-solving skills in various subjects such as Mathematics, Science, Odia, General Knowledge& English. These exams are organized at different levels, including school, zonal, state and national andaimS to foster academic excellence and critical thinking. This year, St. Joseph’s High School English Medium held the Olympiad exams for the fifth time.
The primary objective of participating in Olympiad exams is to provide students with an opportunity to challenge themselves beyond the standard curriculum, develop advanced problem-solving abilities, and gain recognition for their academic skills. This year, 92 students from our school participated in various Olympiad exams. The subjects included Mathematics, English,Science,Odia&General Knowledge. Students were provided with practice papers, reference books and online resources to aid their studies.
Our students performed exceptionally well in the Olympiad exams. Notably,55 students achieved high ranks and received awards in specific subjects.
School level : -10 Gold ,16 silver &5 Bronze medals
Zonal level -12 Gold, 7 Silver &2 Bronze medals
State level exam- 1Gold &2 Bronze medals.
Highlighting top performers, Bibhansh Prasad Sahu won Silver Medal for English &Babypatra won Gold Medal for G.K and Silver Medal for Maths.
Participation in the Olympiad exams significantly enhanced students’ analytical and problem-solving skills.The achievements of our students have brought recognition to our school, underscoring our commitment to academic excellence.
A state level prize distribution ceremony was organized on 3rd August 2024 at Jaydev Bhavan where the medal holder students were felicitated and it was attended by Mrs.Urvashi Devi,the co-coordinator for Olympiad exams at St.Joseph’sHigh School (English Medium), Jokalandi.

The Olympiad exams have been a valuable experience for our students, contributing to their overall academic development and showcasing their abilities on a larger stage.
