PARENT TEACHER MEET – 1 (2024-2025), 27TH JULY, SATURDAY

St. Joseph’s High School EnglishMedium, Jokalandi scheduled a Parent Teacher Meeting for the first term, academic year 2024 -2025 on 27th of July, 2024 from 8.00 am – 10.30 am. The parents were intimated through the student official groups well in advance by the class teachers.

A Parent – Teacher meeting- provides chance to sit with ward’s teacher to talk about your child’s progress and to get an opportunity to know the progress of the student.

The event witnessed around 85% attendance thus displaying enthusiastic interest among parents for the smooth working and progress of the school.The main objective of the meeting was to create a common platform, where teacher and parents come together to discuss student’s performance and devise ways to enrich their learning experience.Interaction between Parents, Class Teachers, Subject Teachers and Management were the highlight of the day.The teachers briefed the parents about  student’s performance in individual subjects during the first term, students discipline in classrooms and their attendance percentage. Together they identified the areas of strength and weakness of the child and sorted out ways to boost the child’s performance.

Parents were happy with the way the management was conducting academically. Parents were also encouraged to appreciate student’s participation in all academic activities. This helped to create the necessary consciousness among parents to stimulate their interest in the students and the school. They gave their view points and suggestions to teachers regarding the school and its development.

The other points of discussion were reminders about regular fee payment, encouraging the parents to register their children for Karate classes being conducted in the school campus every Saturday & Sunday and promoting the importance of participating in Olympiad exams.

The meeting helped to create better understanding between parents and teachers and build harmonious relationship between the school and the community.Overall, it was a successful day with valuable feedbacks.
