On 5th September 2022 St. Joseph’s High School (English Medium), Jokalandi, Bharatpur organized Teachers’ Day on the birthday of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, former President of India. The day was celebrated magnificently with a lot of zest and fervor.
The program was started off with a Welcome song sung by the school choir. It was followed by the lighting of the lamp by Sr. Pauline the Manager, Sr. Archana the Principal, Mrs. Snigdha the assistant teacher and Niroja the Head Girl from Std-X.
A cultural gala was organized by students to honour the teachers. It began with a prayer dance. The array of programmes included melodious songs, enthralling dances, thoughtful and inspiring speeches. Rib tickling skits induced laughter among the audience. Games were conducted for the teachers and prizes were also distributed to the winners. The principal who is on the drivers’ seat of our institution spoke on relevance of the day motivating the staff and students. The day was wound up with a vote of thanks proposed by Mrs. Reshma.
